| Not only will you find a great shopping experience here at Mackinaw Outfitters....You will also find many different attractions that you will not want to miss!! We have a 40 foot rock climbing wall, 10,000 gallon fresh water fish aquarium stocked with native Michigan fish and numerous wild life taxidermy mounts for your viewing. It gives one a better prospective on just how precious our wild life and the environment is. Visiting these areas throughout the store is very educational and informative. This is a great place to bring your family, youth or any other kind of group. We welcome you to take your time and look at all we have to offer here. Jim Wehr and staff are very active with area groups to protect and conserve our wild resources. We enjoy passing this on to our guest via our many displays and our beautiful fish aquarium. | Our aquarium is one of our proudest achievements. The 10,000 gallon fresh water tank holds a host of beautiful native fish. Large Mouth Bass, Perch, Walleye, Pike, Rainbow Trout, and Blue Gill just to name a few. Our fish love the visitors and put on a spectacular show. Viewing the tank can be done from both sides. | If you are a little more adventurous then our 40 foot rock wall is just the ticket to satisfy your daring side. The rock climbing is supervised by our staff and each climber must wear the safety harness. Make it to the top and ring the bell. Great fun for everyone. Click on Image for Larger View |
Taxidermy Mounts and Sitting Areas
| Throughout the store you will find many different taxidermy mounts on display for your viewing. We also have several areas where you can stop and just sit for awhile. Our beautiful double sided fireplace is a perfect place to sit, relax and take in the rustic log cabin feel created through the entire store.
